Delete your Nitya account

You can delete your account and everything Nitya holds about you from the app, in a minute, with nothing to send us.

In the app

  1. Open Settings from the person icon on Today.
  2. Under Account, choose Delete account.
  3. Read what is deleted and confirm.

What is deleted

Your account, your sign-in link, your devices and their push tokens, your plan record, your practice history and japa counts, your temple pins, your family membership, and any invites you used. If you own a family, the family and its invites go too; its members keep their own history. The copy on your phone is erased with it. A subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play is cancelled there, from the store's own subscriptions page, which the app opens for you under Settings → Plan.

Without the app

Write to support@getnitya.app from the address you signed in with, or with the device name shown under Settings → Account, and we delete the account within two days and confirm by reply.

Backups of the server are kept for a short, fixed period and then overwritten; a deleted account is not restored from them.
